Other Programs

Athletics Ministry

The University Ministries' Athletics Chaplain oversees a team of Seminary students who serve as chaplains and spiritual resources to many of North Park's sports teams. Depending on the needs and desires of the team and the availability of chaplains, various activities including Chapel services, bible studies and one-on-one mentoring for coaches and their teams are provided.

Catholic Association

The Catholic Association seeks to nurture North Park students in the Catholic tradition to grow in Christ with each other, to promote understanding of the Catholic faith tradition among members of other faith communities, and to encourage inter-faith understanding. Students as well as faculty and staff are welcome to join us.  For more information, please email us at umin@npumin.com.

International Hospitality Program (InHop)

University Ministries collaborates with other departments on campus to provide a host family experience for International students. Monthly meals in a home and group activities throughout the year are part of the program.  If you are a North Park international student, or know of one who might be interested, please email us at inhop.npu@gmail.com. Apply to be a host, or read more about the program here.

Red Hymnal Society

All are welcome to join the Red Hymnal Society as they meet weekly to sing from the retired Red Covenant Hymnal. Song numbers are shouted out on the fly by anyone who wants to pick a song. After an hour of worship, the group enjoys fellowship over homemade baked goods. The RHS also participates in a number of events throughout the year, from singing with the elderly at Covenant Home, to joining local churches in their hymn sings, to caroling the neighborhood and campus by candlelight during advent.
