I enjoy creating web-based activities, working as the official scorer for the North Park University baseball and men's basketball teams, listening to a wide variety of music, reading, and traveling (when I can pry myself away from Chicago!).
| Outside interests: Languages and linguistics, ethnic foods, historical baseball research, shortwave radio, playing Scrabble and cards with my father, watching the Cubs, White Sox, and Bears win (sometimes), |

Little known facts: I lived and taught EFL in Europe during the 1980s -- Madrid, 1981-85; Barcelona, 1985-88; Budapest, 1988-89. I also volunteered at an Austrian youth hostel for a summer.
I like: Chicago deep-dish pizza, coffee, baseball, pre-invasion rock music, ragtime.
I don't like: people who are insensitive to other cultures, broccoli, el tráfico loco de Chicago.
