Partners In Ministry Back to Community Life

Spouses of Seminary students play a vital role in the North Park community. Partners in Ministry seeks to give spouses the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover their unique identity in Christ.

With this goal in mind, two programs, Partners in Ministry (PIM) and its educational branch, Partners' Enrichment Program (PEP), have been established. Designed to work in tandem, PIM and PEP offer opportunities to gain support, friendship, spiritual growth, education, and practical skills. Together they help spouses discover and nurture the gifts God has given them and prepare them for their future beyond seminary.

Community life at seminary can be a wonderful experience as we work together. If you feel these programs would benefit you while you are at North Park, feel free to contact us. Our hope is that PIM and PEP will be tools to help you receive the spiritual support you need and to establish friendships that will last a lifetime.

Partners in Ministry

Partners in Ministry has existed since the Seminary began in 1891. We are the Seminary division of Covenant Women Ministries, but also serve male spouses of female students. The mission of PIM is to be a support to spouses of Seminary students and to provide opportunities for growth and ministry. We try to make this happen through:

Small Groups: Bible Studies, Prayer Support, Friendships
Social Events: Fall Kick-off Party, Christmas Party, Spring Banquet
Service Ministries: Meal Ministry to the Sick, Baby Showers, Emergency Needs
Retreats

Partners' Enrichment Program

PEP was established through funding from Covenant Women Ministries to meet the educational needs of Seminary spouses. In addition to the opportunity spouses have to audit Seminary courses, PEP is designed specifically to address issues you might face in future years as partners in ministry.

Classes offer a variety of learning experiences centered upon the spiritual, biblical, and practical aspects of ministry.
Some of the general topics offered through PEP classes are:

bullet Discipleship training
bullet Congregational life
bullet Counseling skills
bullet Old and New Testament studies
bullet Leadership training
bullet Current family issues
bullet Up front skills

Watch for registration and course descriptions at the beginning of every quarter.
All PIM and PEP events offer reimbursement for childcare expenses.
