Petition the Academic Standing Committee

The Student Academic Standing Committee is a standing (permanent) committee that convenes once a month during the Fall and Spring Semesters to consider special requests and appeals regarding institutional policy. The Committee addresses requests that include, but are not limited to, rule waivers, grade changes, and petitions for readmission.

To petition the academic standing committee, you will need to:

  • Complete a SASC petition forms

    • OR
  • Write a letter to Aaron Schoof of the student academic standing committee, Box 25. In the letter, you need to explain succinctly why you feel your petition merits special consideration.
