Truly the first program of its kind in Chicago, the Master of Arts in Community Development program addresses the concerns of individuals working in and for a better quality of life in urban communities.

Convenient location

North Park University is conveniently located on Chicago's north side. The campus is situated on the corner of Kedzie and Foster avenues in one of the city's most diversely populated communities. It is easily accessible from major highways, buses and with ample parking within steps of the classrooms.

Hands-on experience

Students will have the opportunity to visit some of Chicago's premier community-based organizations, talking with leadership, residents, and staff.

Courses designed for working professionals

Enjoy the convenience of weekend and evening classes that meet from 9 am - 12 noon and 1-4 pm Saturdays and 6-9 pm on various evenings.

Affordable

Scholarships are available to incoming students with professional experience and academic merit. Take advantage of tuition reimbursement through your employer.
