North Park Minimum system requirements

Windows based computers

A pentium III PC with at least 256 MB Ram running Windows XP Home or Pro with SP2 installed with all current "critical updates" installed.

Current Anti-Virus must be installed and be up to date.

Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP2 installed.

A 10/100Base-T Ethernet card is required for access to the network from on-campus network ports.

Automatic Updates should be set to automatically update the system.

Turning on Windows XP firewall is recommended for a higher level of security.

Macintosh based computers

Apple Power Mac G4 with 256 MB Ram running Mac OS X (10.2 or better) with all current security updates.

Current Anti-Virus must be installed and be up to date.

Safari or FireFox.

A 10/100Base-T Ethernet card is required for access to the network from on-campus network ports.

Mac OX X (10.3.x) or better is recommended.
