Grahn named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
CHICAGO, IL (October 30, 2009) – North Park men’s soccer player
Kris Grahn was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (
CoSIDA) Academic All-District second team for the 2009 season.
It is the second individual honor for Grahn, a sophomore forward from Tibro, Sweden, this week. He earned College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Player of Week honors earlier this week.
In order to qualify for the CoSIDA Academic All-District team, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution and must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s games at their respective position.
Grahn has a cumulative GPA of 3.58. Statistically, he leads the team and the CCIW in numerous categories, including goals scored (10), game-winning goals (4) and assists (9). Grahn’s All-District selection is the second in last two years for the North Park men’s soccer team. Isaac Lee was named to the All-District team for 2007 season.
