Burgh Hall
Built in 1956, Burgh Hall has capacity for roughly 200 students housed on four floors. The first floor has a TV lounge, kitchen and computer area, in addition to resident rooms. Also, the first floor is co-ed, with women on the north side of the building and men on the south side of the building. The second floor consists of all women, while the third and fourth floors are all men. A study area, additional computers, and the Student Association offices and coffee house are located in the basement, along with laundry facilities.
Each room is approximately 168 square feet and is equipped with beds, desks and desk chairs, closets, dressers, and window blinds. The floors are linoleum and many students bring carpeting and lofts through residence life approval.
Burgh Hall, a Co-ed community has obtained the reputation as being a very social hall. Students often leave their doors open and find it easy to make friends. Burgh is conveniently located across from the cafeteria, a short walk to Helwig Recreation Center and near Anderson Hall, an all-female residence hall.
