Anderson Hall

Anderson Hall is one of two all-women's halls on North Park's campus and houses 228 women. The hall is located on the south side of campus adjacent to the Magnuson Campus Center and across from the cafeteria and Burgh Hall, a co-ed residence hall. Anderson Hall is known for its cylindrical shape that promotes close community.

Upon entering Anderson Hall, you will find a Desk Attendant who is there to greet and assist you. The desk is staffed 24 hours a day to ensure safety and security. The lobby area contains a TV/study area. Adjacent to the lobby is a vending area and kitchenette for the residents in the building to use at any time. The lobby tends to be a popular place for students to hang out and socialize. A study lounge, computer terminals, prayer room, and the Resident Director's office and apartment can also be found on the main floor.

Anderson Hall has six floors accessible by an elevator as well as two stairwells. The outside circle is made up of 20 student rooms- 18 doubles and 2 singles (one of which is the Resident Assistant’s). The middle of each floor has two bathrooms, one on each side, which are connected in the middle by a laundry room and small lounge. Each floor contains one washer and dryer. Also in the laundry room areas are drying racks, recycling containers, an ironing board and an iron.

Anderson Hall tends to be a very social hall and is composed of predominately first-year students. There is always something happening in the hall and when you walk on the floor you will always find some open doors. The women in the hall are very active on campus and supportive of one another's events. There is a strong sense of community and pride within the hall. If you're looking for fun and friendships, Anderson Hall is the place to be!
